Maria received her Diploma in Dental Surgery and Master’s of Science degree in Oral Biology from the University of Athens. She then attended a three-year full-time training programme leading to Postgraduate Certificate of Clinical Specialisation in Periodontology.

Since June 2003 she has been working in the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute, London, as research fellow and clinical instructor. Maria is working closely with the Dentics’ dentists team since April 2004, performing the following procedures aimed to establish a healthy and attractive smile:

1) Diagnosis, and control of periodontal (gum) diseases, as healthy gums constitute the foundation for any aesthetic smile makeover.

2) Dental implants placement

3) Cosmetic enhancement via plastic surgery performed to correct “gummy” smile, uneven gum line or gum recessions.
