Specialist in Periodontics

Maria Retzepi is a GDC registered specialist in Periodontics and is currently appointed as a Clinical Lecturer in Periodontology at the world-renowned UCL Eastman’s Dental Institute, where she is actively involved it specialist clinical training in the MclinDent in Periodontology and in the MSc in Implantology programmes.
 
Maria has several publications in international journals and has lectured extensively to professional bodies on topics related to Periodontology and Dental Implantology. She is a member of the European Association of Osseointegration, the International Team of Implantology and the British Society of Periodontology.
 
Maria joined City Dentics in 2006 following completion of a clinical fellowship at the Department of Periodontology and Fixed Prosthetics, University of Berne, Switzerland. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Specialism in Periodontics and Master of Science in Oral Biology with distinction from the University of Athens, following completion of a three-year full time specialist training programme.
 
Maria accepts referrals for modalities related to dental implant treatment, including placement of dental implants and performance or bone grafting and sinus lift procedures.
